From early morning starts to late-night finishes, it’s all about passion, precision, and keeping beards looking their absolute best.
6:45 AM – Rise & Fuel Up
First things first—coffee. Can’t start the day without it. While sipping on a strong brew, I check through emails, customer messages, and online orders. Social media gets a quick look too, making sure I’m up to date with everything happening in the beard world and the shop!
8:00 AM – Prepping for the Day
Before heading to the barbershop, I spend some time in the BPB HQ—my workspace for product creation. If it’s a Wednesday, it’s all about fresh batch production. Oils, balms, washes—you name it, it’s being made fresh and packed for shipping or restocking the barbershop
9:00 AM – Barbershop Opens
Doors open, and the first clients roll in. Whether it’s a full beard sculpt, a trim, or a first-time consultation, every client gets the VIP treatment. Between cuts, I’ll be restocking shelves with our freshest batches and chatting with customers about their beard care routines.
1:00 PM – Quick Break & Business Updates
Lunch (if I manage to grab it!) is usually something quick. I’ll also take this time to review sales, check in on orders, and plan out any marketing content for social media. Keeping everything running smoothly means balancing both the creative and business sides of Big Phat Beard.
3:00 PM – More Clients, More Beards
Back-to-back appointments keep me on my feet. Regular clients drop by for their usual trims, while new faces get introduced to the Big Phat Beard experience. Every cut is a conversation, and it’s always class getting to know the people behind the beards.
5:30 PM – Wrapping Up the Shop
The last cuts of the day finish up, and it’s time for a clean-down. The shop gets tidied, tools get sterilized, and stock gets prepped for the next day. Before leaving, I check in on product inventory and make note of anything that needs restocking or reordering.
8:00 PM – Socials & Planning
Once I’m home, it’s time for social media. Whether it’s replying to messages, posting updates, or planning the next launch, keeping Big Phat Beard connected to our community is key. I also take a bit of time to plan out the next day—every hour counts when you’re juggling a brand and a barbershop.
10:30 PM – Wind Down
Finally, it’s time to relax (or at least try to). Whether it’s watching something on TV, brainstorming new ideas, or just chilling with a late-night cuppa, this is when I recharge for another full-on day ahead.
